The British quartet Wolf Alice simply eviscerated Chicago’s Metro during their sold-out show on Friday night. The band has not so quietly become one of the finest live bands from the UK, powered by their stunning 2017 top ten critics album “Visions of a Life. Curt Baran powered through the impossibly crowded Metro photo pit with elbows and lenses intact. Last we heard, his ears are still ringing but his rock and roll heart is full.
